The Taj Mahal has been around since 1648 and over all these years, it has served as an iconic gesture of romance, commitment and perfection. People have traveled to the Taj Mahal from around the world for that one picture perfect photograph and have stood in its shadows in awe.
While everyone was admiring the monument, Dr. Dilip Ahuja of the National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore noticed that something about the Taj Mahal was just wrong.
Given how Shah Jahan had the arms of the artists and craftsmen cut off so they could never build another beauty like this again, it is surprising that the monument has been standing tall through all these years with an imperfection.
